S&T donated tablets to children in Kosovo and Metohija

In cooperation with The Postal Savings Bank and The Office for Kosovo and Metohija, S&T Serbia provided 25 tablet devices - as a donation to children from four municipalities in northern Kosovo and Metohija. This type of social responsibility is in line with S&T Serbia's business philosophy - as a partner in digitization and improvement of IT in our country. The idea was with these S&T tablet devices to help children in their schoolwork and acquiring new knowledge, improve technological literacy and further interconnecting. Children will be able to use these tablets also as laptops (using the corresponding keyboard), which will give them the opportunity to - in addition to distance learning, watching video lessons, etc. - use these devices for more comfortable and more advanced usage in the future.

The donated devices are a limited series - produced by a member company of the S&T Group - Foxconn. Such tablets have been used in similar projects in the region - implemented in order to improve the education system. S&T Serbia is part of the S&T Group - present in over 30 countries - and has been operating successfully on the Serbian market for 25 years. It has implemented a number of successful IT projects - including the eGovernment portal - as a basis for digitization in Serbia - which currently has over 300 services available to all citizens of the Republic of Serbia.

S&T has a long-term cooperation with the Postal Savings Bank, and one of the many jointly carried-out projects was the instant payment system (IPS). Thanks to this system - the Postal Savings Bank is one of the top banks in the number of executed IPS orders in Serbia.
